The Academy of Dance and Art also offers variety of dance styles and other disciplines in performing arts which include contemporary, modern ballet, jazz, tap, ballroom, hip-hop, voice lessons, piano lessons, guitar lessons and musical theatre class. The school also offer sports/fitness activities like gymnastics, zumba, pilates, yoga, and martial arts including karate-do and taekwondo.

From classical ballet to hip-hop, we offer of dance classes to suit different tastes and skill levels. Each style of dance offers something unique and can provide an engaging way to learn new moves, improve fitness levels and make new friends.
Our classes offer a variety of physical and mental benefits. These include improved strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and body awareness. Dancing also helps to reduce stress and anxiety, boost confidence, and build self-esteem, this is all in addition to being a great way to socialize and make new friends.

Salsa is a Latin dance, associated with the music genre of the same name, which was first popularized in the United States in the 1960s in New York City. Salsa is a mixture of Cuban dances, such as mambo, pachanga, and rumba, as well as American dances such as swing and tap.
Rumba is a secular genre of Cuban music involving dance, percussion, and song. It originated in the northern regions of Cuba, mainly in urban Havana and Matanzas, during the late 19th century. It is based on African music and dance traditions, namely Abakuá and yuka, as well as the Spanish-based coros de clave.
Gymnastics is a type of sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups
Yoga is a mind and body practice that can build strength and flexibility. It may also help manage pain and reduce stress. Various styles of yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation.
Pilates involves a series of movements that will stabilize and strengthen your core. Pilates’ main focus is on core however, you can expect to see strength gains in your arms and legs. Positions and movements used to activate core rely on extremities to control &/or apply loads to the core and likewise will benefit from Pilates.
Taekwondo, also spelled tae kwon do or taekwon-do, is a Korean martial art involving punching and kicking techniques. The literal translation for taekwondo is “kicking”, “punching”, and “the art or way of”. It sometimes involves the use of weapons. Taekwondo practitioners wear a uniform, known as a dobok.
