Strength, precision, and artistry at the highest level

Pointè CLASS

Pointè work represents a significant milestone in a dancer’s journey, requiring strength, discipline, and refined technique.

At The Academy of Dance and Art, our Pointe classes are carefully structured to support safe progression while developing the control, balance, and artistry needed to dance en pointe with confidence.

About Pointe Training

Pointe is an advanced form of classical ballet where dancers perform on the tips of their toes using specially designed pointe shoes. It is both physically demanding and artistically expressive, requiring a strong technical foundation and proper preparation.

At The Academy of Dance and Art, Pointe training is introduced only when a student has developed the necessary strength, alignment, and technique. Our instructors prioritise safety and correct technique, ensuring each dancer progresses with confidence and control.

Class Experience

Classes are focused, structured, and supportive. Dancers work progressively to build the strength and control required for pointe work, with close attention given to technique and individual development.

Each session reinforces safe practice while encouraging artistic expression, helping dancers develop both technically and creatively.
